Insurance/Billing Info
Lincoln Park Psychology is currently a provider in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and United Healthcare/Optum. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please let us know if you would like to use your health insurance coverage; however, should you have questions about your benefits and/or payment structures, please reach out to your health insurance network to clarify.
Should you choose not to use your health insurance for privacy reasons, or if you participate in an out of network plan, we have a fee schedule available here.
All sessions are typically 50-55 minutes in length, often taking place once weekly depending on your needs. The first two meetings are considered initial intake sessions in order to best assess the client's needs, set appropriate goals, and develop a treatment plan to guide change.
We will bill your insurance company directly, but other payments (out of pocket, out of network, copays, coinsurances, etc) are expected at the time of service, and will be billed directly from our billing system. We require payment information to be kept on file (using an encrypted database) to make this an easier and more seamless process for everyone.
Our cancellation policy states that we expect 24 hours notice of a cancellation for you to avoid being billed the cancellation fee of $150 for the service scheduled. No-shows, or cancellations within the 24 hour window are not covered by your insurance company; therefore you will be responsible for the full fee on our fee schedule. If you cancel within the 24 hour window, we are happy to attempt to reschedule you within that week time frame to avoid the fee.
