Kelly Sawin

Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), and Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She brings a strengths-based, individualized approach to therapy, rooted in the belief that each client is the expert of their own life. Her role is to collaborate with you — helping you make sense of your experiences, gain insight, and move toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

She has a natural ability to balance deep compassion with honest, grounded support — helping clients feel truly understood while also being gently encouraged to grow in ways that feel real, not forced.

Kelly works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, academic and vocational stress, and relationship dynamics. As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, she meets clients wherever they are in their relationship with substances — whether that means harm reduction, building awareness, or long-term recovery. She is also a trusted resource for those working through identity development or those seasons of life where everything just feels stuck or overwhelming.

One of Kelly's greatest passions is helping adults with ADHD and executive functioning challenges better understand how their brains work. Drawing on both specialized training and personal insight into ADHD, she helps clients build practical, personalized strategies around focus, organization, emotional regulation, and follow-through. Her approach blends creativity, structure, and self-compassion — supporting clients in moving from frustration and self-criticism toward clarity, confidence, and lasting change.
